Status pages and a site up/down tool

A public-access status and up/down query site, plus a status-page surface for ClosetServer customers — all powered by Watch4.me with visible lineage.

What it's for

A shareable status surface, publicly useful

Isntdown.com is in planning. The working model:

  • Public-access content — anyone can look up whether a site is up or down, without an account.
  • Authenticated features — status-page creation and management flow through ClosetServer customer accounts. No separate Isntdown signup.
  • Powered by Watch4.me — the monitoring underneath is Watch4.me. The branding makes that lineage visible, so when a user outgrows free monitoring, the upgrade path is obvious.

Exact UX, feature scope, and launch timing are still being worked out.

Access model

Public for lookup, ClosetServer for management

Anyone can check a site's status. Only ClosetServer customers can create and manage status pages of their own.

Branding

"Powered by Watch4.me"

Every status page, every alert surface carries the Watch4.me association, so the upsell to paid monitoring feels like a natural expansion.

Role in the funnel

The middle of the pipe

ClosetServer acquires, Isntdown introduces the Watch4.me brand, Watch4.me monetizes.
